Dr. Tevfik Murat KARAER

Born in Ankara in 1960, Dr. Tevfik Murat Karaer is one of Ankara's most established and respected dentists, with over 40 years of professional experience. Today, he is the founding dentist of Karaer Oral and Dental Health Center, providing services to the Çayyolu, Ümitköy, and Beytepe districts according to modern dental standards.
Educational Life and Public Service
She began her undergraduate studies in 1978 at Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry, one of Türkiye's most prestigious institutions, and graduated successfully in 1983.
After completing her education, Dr. Karaer began her professional career at Ankara Hospital, where she made significant contributions to shaping dental practice during her time in the public sector. In particular, as one of the first physicians to perform implant surgery within the Ministry of Health, she pioneered the development of implantology in Ankara.
He played an active role in the establishment of the Oral and Dental Health Center; and successfully served in this center as Head of the Surgical Clinic, Chairman of the Infection Control Committee, and for many years as Deputy Chief Physician.
Contributions to Pediatric Dentistry and Civil Society Roles
In line with her emphasis on preventive and pediatric dentistry (pedodontics), she was among the founders of the Ulucanlar Pediatric Dentistry annex building, making a significant contribution to the institutionalization of pediatric oral and dental health services in Ankara. She completed her successful career in the public sector by retiring in 2010.
With his commitment to professional ethics and solidarity, he has previously held prestigious positions such as delegate to the Ankara Chamber of Dentists and member of the Ethics Committee of the Turkish Dental Association (TDB).
