Prof. Dr. Ercan KURT

Born in Ankara in 1961, Prof. Dr. Ercan Kurt is one of Turkey's leading specialists in Anesthesiology, Reanimation, and Algology (Pain Science), with decades of academic and clinical experience in the medical field. He offers his extensive medical expertise at the Karaer Oral and Dental Health Center in Çayyolu, Ankara, aiming to provide a comfortable and safe treatment environment for patients with dental phobia or those requiring advanced surgical procedures.

Well-established Medical Education and GATA Years

He began his medical career at Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) Faculty of Medicine, one of Türkiye's oldest and most prestigious health and education institutions, and graduated successfully in 1984.

Kurt continued his specialist training in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at GATA (Gülhane Military Medical Academy) in 1989, completing this challenging and critical specialization process in 1993 and receiving the title of Specialist in Anesthesiology and Reanimation.

Professorship Title and Head of Department

Ercan Kurt, whose disciplined and successful work at the military medical academy was crowned with academic degrees, received the title of Associate Professor in 1994 and Professor in 2005, making significant contributions to medical literature and the training of new generations of physicians.

In line with his leadership and administrative vision, he successfully held the highly critical and senior position of Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation at GATA (Gülhane Military Medical Academy) between 2006 and 2014. He completed this honorable career, in which he served Turkish medicine and countless patients, by retiring at his own request in 2015.
